Wilson of Bedford Blues banned for three weeks

The charge against James Wilson of Bedford Blues for playing an opponent without the ball, contrary to law 10.4(f) was heard today (28 September 2017).

The player contested the charge but was found guilty and banned for three weeks. Wilson is free to play again on 17 October 2017.

The incident occurred in the second half of the Greene King IPA Championship match between Bedford Blues and Bristol Rugby on 23 September 2017.
